Beginnings

I praise you, so wonderfully you made me; wonderful are your works!

Psalm 139:14 NAB

Growing up, I went to Schoenstatt Summer Camps. One of the acronyms that was taught was WWMW, What Would Mary Wear? We were taught to dress and act modestly in a way that reflects our dignity as “daughters of the King.” What better way to do that than imitating our Queen in Heaven, Mary?

Then I came across the book, Dressing with Dignity by Colleen Hammond. In her book, she brought home to me the importance of modesty.

In college, I decided to downsize my wardrobe. While I was doing that, I figured “Why not use the seasonal color analysis to do that?” Since then, I’ve been interested in dressing according to my palette and body type. While figuring out my dressing style, I’ve found myself appreciating the uniqueness of myself and the beauty of all women.

I felt that a fashion blog would be a great way to help women see how “wonderfully made” they are in God’s eyes. My hope is to help others see how beautiful they are in their own right and to highlight that.
